  • Tenda AC9(v3.0)-How to setup Internet Settings

    Model: Tenda AC9 Question Classification: Feature Setup

    This article will guide you how to setup PPPoE mode, DHCP and Static IP.

    Note: If you do not know your connection type, please contact your ISP and ask for help.

    Step 1: Connect the broadband line with the WAN port of AC9, and then connect your computer with LAN1/LAN2/LAN3/LAN4 ports of AC9 by an Ethernet Cable. Physical connection as bellow:

    Step 2: Open “Network and Sharing Center”.

    Step 3: Click on “Change Adapter Settings”.

    Step 4: Right click on “Local Area Connection”, then choose the Properties option.

    Step 5: Double click on “Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4)”.

    Step 6: Choose “Obtain an IP address automatically” and “Obtain DNS server address automatically” and then click “OK”.

    Step 7: Open a browser then type “” in the address bar, press “Enter”. And go to the homepage of the router. Then click “Start”.

    Step 8: Select your connection type. Click “Next”.

    If your connection type is PPPoE, please enter your user name and password.

    If your connection type is Dynamic IP, please click “Next”.

    If your connection type is static IP, please enter the details and click “Next”.

    Step 9: Set up your new WiFi Name and Password. And reconnect the new WiFi name.

    Note: “Setup completely, router is connecting the internet, please wait.” Wait about 10 seconds, it will come out an interface.

    Step 10: Type the login password you set before. Click “Login” and turn to the setup page.

    Step 11: In router’s setup page, click “Internet Setting” Check connection status. Use Dynamic IP as an example.
