  • MW6 connection issue

    I have purchased a new MW6 unit to add to my existing 3 units. Plugged it in but the blue flashing light always goes red. The "add" feature in the app also fails to add. What am I doing wrong?

    Dear sir,

    Please follow the instructions below to setup your mesh system:

    1.First,please cable the fourth node to your modem and restart the APP to setup this node as a new & isolation system like factory installing .

    2.Please upgrade this node to latest firmware version which is V1.0.0.16 like the way you used to upgrade the existing node.

    3.After you upgrade this node , hold press the RST bottom for 6 seconds till the light Blue LED turns on and release the bottom. This is the correct way to reset the node with latest version . it means failed to upgrade when the light blue LED didn't turn on .If failed , please follow the two steps up to upgrade it again.

    4.Cable the pre-primary node to your modem ,then ,add this node to the pre-existing system on APP via scan the QR code after you finished the below.

    5.Setup this 4th node as the primary node to see if this happen again .
